Women of Exile Exposition

Mujeres del Exilio is an exhibition proposal designed in collaboration with artist Juan Pablo Campistrous, winner of the museographic competition organized by the Collective of Refugee, Exiled, and Migrant Women of Valencia, Spain. The exhibition highlights the history of Colombian women in refuge, exile, and migration, focusing particularly on the Valencian Community and other cities in Spain.It presents a collection of letters, photographs, timelines, and political manifestos that reflect their experiences in exile, the impact of the armed conflict in Colombia, and their stories of resilience and political activism.

The museological script is structured around five key moments: 1. The Collective, resisting distance; 2. The history of the conflict; 3. Exile; 4. A new territory of objects and affections; 5. Building networks and activism. The museographic proposal is implemented through a modular design consisting of three exhibition units, offering spatial flexibility to convey the six moments that make up the exhibition.
